over 30 years of music
MGP Live is an international entertainment company based in NYC specialized in promoting concerts, cultural events, and special events. For over 30 years Massimo Gallotta, Founder and President of MGP Live, has been a leading promoter on the Italian and international music scene.
In 2006, Massimo Gallotta created MGP Live in NYC to promote Italian culture and music internationally. Soon after, he produced the first-ever US concert of Maestro Ennio Morricone, featuring a 200 piece orchestra, at Radio City Music Hall. Almost ten years and countless concerts later, the MGP Live brand has become synonymous with innovative, cross-genre productions such as the legendary Patti Labelle reunion concert at the Apollo Theatre, Academy Award winning actor Roberto Benigni’s first US tour with his Divine Comedy show, Angelique Kidjo’s performance at United Nations to support Global Efforts to End Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), acclaimed Italian artist Pino Daniele’s first ever North America & Europe tour, including a concert at the Apollo Theatre, and The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, with JMPP/Nintendo, which is currently touring worldwide, among many other productions.
