MGP Live is an entertainment company headquartered in New York City that specializes in producing and promoting a wide range of multimedia symphony concerts and tours. Fusing the richness and tradition of a full symphony orchestra and choir with breathtaking HD footage from iconic video game franchises, popular films, and other well known entertainment brands, MGP Live is known worldwide for bringing to life the sights and sounds of classic media icons in a concert setting.
Founder and President, Massimo Gallotta first began promoting and producing concerts in Italy over 40 years ago. In 2006, he created MGP Live in NYC to promote Italian culture and music internationally, becoming synonymous with innovative, cross-genre productions.
MGP Live has brought to life countless noteworthy events and concerts over the years. We produced the first ever US concert for Maestro Ennio Morricone, featuring a 200 piece orchestra at Radio City Music Hall. Other artists & productions include Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Joe Cocker, Patti Labelle reunion concert, Academy Award winner Roberto Benigni’s first US comedy tour, Angelique Kidjo’s performance at United Nations, acclaimed Italian artist Pino Daniele’s first ever international tour, and many more.
Our projects include several World Tours of The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, along with international performances of Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy, Assassin’s Creed Symphony and The 8-Bit Big Band.
Our upcoming project is BATMAN (1989) 35th Anniversary concert with full size orchestra performing live at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
